METAL DETECTING

Have a look at clues I’ve unearthed about the people that moved around by sea and land. Warning: there be treasure!

BEACHCOMBING

Sea glass, shell, ceramic. Colour palettes and surfaces built from treasures washed up on the shoreline inform my seascape paintings.

MUDLARKING

Wandering the low tide there are clues of ancient trade routes and settlements, in times where the coast was crucial to moving goods around the British isles.
