A coastal artist
Welcome to my work as contemporary seascapes artist inspired by the sky, sea and found objects of the coast. I’ve had work exhibited at leading British coastal art galleries, and I’m a ‘Tresco Artist’, connected to the Isles of Scilly through my work with Gallery Tresco and the wider islands community.

I teach painting at National Trust Overbecks, Salcombe and as part of Creative Scilly festival and the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust’s Festival of Nature.
My creative background feeds into my work every day. I grew up in the Roman city of Bath. Having achieved a place to study BA Hons Fine Art at the University of Exeter, I went on to a 25-year career in fashion and interiors product design. I bring my experience in trend and colour to each painting on the easel.
In 2023 my work has been supported by public funding from Arts Council England to undertake a year’s Studio Practice at renowned Cornish centre for painting, Newlyn School of Art.
